SCOE Robotics helps with robotics merit badge

SCOE Robotics worked with MSOE and the Three Harbors Council of the Boy Scouts of America to assist almost 100 scouts to complete the robotics merit badge. On October 25, 2012, several hundred boy and girl scouts attended How to Train Your Dragon at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. The Boy Scouts completed part of the merit badge before the show. On October 27th and November 17th, just under 100 Boy Scouts came to MSOE to work with SCOE Robotics to finish up the 2nd half of the merit badge. They attended one of four sessions that lasted three hours. While working on the merit badge on campus, the scouts designed, built, programmed, and tested their own Lego NXT robot design.

SCOE Robotics Takes 1st Place At CARD

SCOE Robotics has won first place in a partnership with Clarkson University at the CARD competition in St. Louis. Congragulation everyone on your hard work this year. Along with a first place win SCOE also recieved the FIRST Support Award for our efforts in mentoring First Robotics Teams.
